Wake up happy with this Sunrise Smoothie full of bright and refreshing citrus and tropical fruits!
I’m so happy about today’s post! Not only are you getting a yummy smoothie recipe, but I’ve teamed up with my blogging friends to give one lucky reader a BlendTec Designer 675 and Twister Jar! Mine has seriously changed my life! We use it for SO many things! Believe me when I say, you WANT this blender!
Before we get to the giveaway, let’s talk smoothies! I’m a fruity smoothie girl. I’m trying to get more greens into mine so they are healthier, but for today, let’s just go with plain fruit, okay?
This is one of my favorite combos because it’s a creamy, frothy texture with a pretty pale color, and the combination of fruits make me feel refreshed and ready for my day.
It’s also a good one to throw spinach in IF you wanted to sneak some veggies into your diet. (And it will be GREEN. If you add berries to your green smoothie, it might be brown. Not so appetizing.)
Okay, I’ve had my Blendtec blender since about New Year’s Eve 2014. That’s almost 6 1/2 months now, which is roughly 194 days. I obviously use this thing at least once a day if I have 238 blends going on already! It’s worth the price, if you don’t win it. Seriously! Start saving!
The best way to blend smoothies is to have your liquid on the bottom (milk, water, juice), then add the soft items (yogurt, fresh fruit), then add the hard items (ice, frozen fruits). Then hit the smoothie button (the second one from the left) and voila! Your smoothie is ready! Smooth as can be and oh so frothy!
Here’s the recipe, then scroll below to find out more about the Blendtec giveaway and enter through the rafflecopter!

I have not had a blender in many years….so perhaps what i would make is not necessarily exotic, but i would love a really thick smoothie with almond milk, banana, OJ, mango, a small amount of vanilla yogurt, and lots of ice….sounds like heaven to me
a green smoothie (I’m trying to get more greens into my life)
I’ve been eyeing up a blender like this for a while. I would love a simple fruit smoothie.
We can’t get enough of smoothies especially during the summer! Love this sunny tropical smoothie, it sounds so refreshing and delicious!
I love this combo! Sometimes we use canned mandarin oranges too if we don’t have a fresh one on hand.
Love smoothies, especially with pineapple which is my favorite. My blender is cheap so I could use one like this. =)
I would make the sunrise smoothie and lots of other smoothie’s!!
