Smooth coconut ice cream, a tangy squeeze of lime, and fizzy Coca-Cola creates this addicting ice cream-soda float!
Okay friends! Meet your new favorite soda pop float! These Dirty Coke Floats play off of the hugely popular soda creation “dirty diet coke” that Utahns go CRAZY for! What’s better than ice cream and soda?! I used my homemade No Churn Coconut Ice Cream from Tuesdays post with a squeeze of lime and fizzy Coca-Cola to get a dessert-drink I know my family will be having over and over again this summer!
Well, technically you don’t have to wait until summer to make this. Just anytime you crave an ice cream float, but if you’re like me, that means ALL. THE. TIME. Haha.
I like to wait until my ice cream melts a little bit before going to town on my drink. I have also debated on making a freeze with these ingredients so it’s all mixed together and thick! This takes my coconut-lime obsession to a whole new level! It’s crazy good! If you hate Coke, try Dr. Pepper or Pepsi. Just make this! You can also totally buy Coconut Gelato from most stores, so if you are pressed on time and need this NOW, just run to the grocery store and buy what you need! Enjoy!
- 1/2 lime, squeezed
- 1 (12oz) can Coca-Cola
- 2 or 3 scoops No Churn Coconut Ice Cream or store-bought Coconut Gelato
- Squeeze half of a lime into a large cup (about 2 Tbsp lime juice).
- Pour 1 can of Coca-Cola into the cup.
- Drop two scoops of No Churn Coconut Ice Cream into the soda. It will fizz/foam up, especially when stirred lightly with a spoon or straw. Enjoy!
