Ham and Cheese Sliders

Yield 12 slider sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 count) package Rhodes Warm-N-Serv Soft Yeast Rolls, thawed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or miracle whip (or half of each mixed together)
  • 12 slices swiss cheese
  • 10-12 oz ham (about 3 slices per roll)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp dijon or yellow mustard
  • 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
  • 2 tsp dried minced onion
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Use a serrated knife to slice the rolls in half. Place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13-inch pan.
  3. Spread a layer of mayonnaise/miracle whip on top of the rolls. Then layer one slice of cheese, and a few slices of ham on each roll. Add the top halves of the rolls.
  4. Whisk together the melted butter, honey, dijon/yellow mustard, poppy seeds, dried onion, Worcestershire sauce, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Brush or pour mixture over the top of the rolls.
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes, removing the foil for the last 3-5 minutes, until the cheese melts and everything is heated through. If using a metal or thinner-type pan, check doneness around 15-20 minutes. Serve immediately.
