Grandma’s Baked Beans


  • 2 cups canned beans (we generally use pork & beans, whichever brand you prefer)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup dark molasses


  1. Throw everything in a pot on the stove & simmer 30 min to 1 hour, stirring occasionally. The longer the better :)
