Easy Skillet Lasagna

dry pasta (about 2 1/2 cups -- Campanelle, Bowtie, any kind)

ground beef

minced garlic

tsp
dried Italian Seasoning

(.6oz) packet Italian dressing mix, dry

(24oz) jar red pasta sauce

(16oz) tub cottage cheese

1/4
cup
shredded parmesan cheese

1/2
cup
+ shredded mozzarella cheese

fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Cook pasta (in salted water) according to directions on package. Drain and set aside. (Toss with olive oil to prevent sticking, if not ready to use right away.)

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, breaking meat into small pieces with a spatula/cooking utensil. Strain fat and discard. Return meat to skillet.

Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, Italian dressing mix, red pasta sauce, cooked pasta, and cottage cheese. Mix together and stir until bubbling and heated through.

Top with parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Cover with a lid until cheese melts. Sprinkle with chopped parsley (optional). Serve hot.
