Are you supposed to wait until the cake cools to spread the frosting over it, or is this the kind of cake where you put the frosting on while still warm? It doesn’t specify, so just wondering. 🙂 I’m going to try this today; thanks for the recipe!
I think I waited until it had mostly cooled. Just keep the tip of your spatula in the frosting so it doesn’t lift up the crumbs from the cake. 🙂
Miracle Whip in cake?? Say it aint so! That looks out of this world good!!! So moist and delicious!
I know, awesome huh?!
Oh wow! This cake looks incredible!!! I am drooling over how rich and fudgy it is and I could make a meal out of that frosting alone. So gorgeous! Pinning!
Holyyyy yum! This looks unbelievably moist and fudgy inside and that frosting makes me want to just swipe my finger through my screen. LOL. Gorgeous cake, Amber!
Simple, can still be stunning 😉 Thanks Sarah!

True that! Thanks Ashley!
I can always tell that you put a lot of time and love into your photos, Amber. Your icing job is perfect! I’ve never used Miracle Whip in my cakes before but I’ve heard of it. It sounds pretty good with all of that chocolate!
Thanks Jen! I try 😉
