Easy Virgin Sangria - only 2 ingredients plus fresh cut fruit. A bubbly, fruity drink perfect for any party!

One thing I love about Spring is how fresh fruit, especially citrus fruits, can bring you out of the winter woes and help you escape into a happier place. We didn’t get a whole lot of snow here in Utah this year, so it’s already been SUPER NICE weather, but I’m thinking about all of you friends still buried in mounds of snow, wishing for it to melt ASAP!

Today, we’re making a SUPER EASY Virgin Sangria with some bright, cheerful fruits, and bubbly soda. Traditional Sangria is made with wine, chopped fruit, a sweetener (honey, sugar, syrup, or orange juice), and a small amount of added brandy. Well, today we are going for the non-alcoholic version, so the whole family can enjoy it!

All you need is grape juice concentrate, Canada Dry Ginger Ale®, and fresh cut fruit. I used apples, oranges, limes, and lemons! First things first, head to Walmart and pick up your ingredients. The Canada Dry Ginger Ale® is with the other liter bottles of soda, AND there is a brand new Canada Dry Blackberry Ginger Ale® flavor out that I am excited to try! I keep checking the stores every time I am there to see if they’ve stocked the shelves with it yet! I bet it’s delicious!

After you have what you need, it’s as simple as pouring the liquids into a pitcher and cutting up some fruit to put in there! The longer it sits, the more the fruits marry into the drink! Perfection!

So, for fun, let’s just say you have 15 minutes to prepare for some guests coming over. You can whip up this drink super fast and still have a few spare minutes to make these adorable Washi Tape Tea Candle Jars! (see image below)

I typically have tea candles in my cupboard for carved pumpkins at Halloween time, and then I grabbed some rocks from another decor item in my house (you may have some rocks in your yard that you can use) and some washi tape and colorful scotch tape from my craft drawer. I cut the tape in half width-wise and wrapped it around the tea candles, threw some rocks (you can also substitute dry beans) in the bottom of these glass bowls I have (which you can substitute with glass cups), and put the candle on top of the rocks. Voila! Quick drink + quick entertaining decor = a fun and easy Spring party! I have the jars on a metal serving tray in the pictures below that would work great as a centerpiece, or they look nice by themselves on the table next to your Virgin Sangria!
