Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Smoothie

If you are a smoothie lover then you can thank my friend Brooklyn for being her today! She is such a cute girl & has some yummy recipes! Enjoy! ~Amber

Hey everyone I’m Brooklyn, I blog over at Cook & Craft Me Crazy! I’m crazy about cooking, and crazy about crafting! I’ve been married for almost 5 years and have 2 kids. My little girl is 3 and my little boy is 15 months. I’m an Air Force wife who loves to smile, play volleyball and dance to exercise. I also enjoy dancing to old records in my kitchen with my kids.

Like Amber said before, this whole month is Healthy Food, Healthy You, and here is something to help you stay on track!

I make smoothies or shakes almost every morning for breakfast. It’s a great way to get your fruit and dairy servings fast. The things I love about smoothies, is they’re quick put together and fast to clean up! I drink this on the go, of course sharing sips along the way with my kids. This is our all time favorite! It goes down fast and stays with you ’til lunch!

We hope you like it as much as we do!

Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Smoothie

Created by Amber Brady
Yields1 -2 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups frozen Banana Slices and Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 cup Milk, (we use 1%)
  • 2-3 Tbsp Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

Instructions

  • Combine all in a blender and mix until smooth. Sip through a straw or gulp with a spoon. DELISH!
  • *Don’t let the smoothie sit too long without drinking. This is natural fruit and it will brown – brown smoothies aren’t very appealing to drink.

    1. Thanks for stopping by! This smoothie is actually my friend Brook’s recipe & photo. I kind of took this month off to move my blog over to wordpress & redesign things, which is what you see now. I do have a post of my own coming up on Sunday & from February on will be only my recipes. I don’t typically take on guest bloggers, but it has been super helpful for my tech changes this month & my friends are so talented! I am thrilled to showcase their work! Anyway, thanks again for coming on over! I love contributing for Liz 🙂
